Did you know? ... Rob Turner, 36-0 in 1998, posted the only undefeated season in KHS history.

Did you know? ... By placing third at the 2010 State Tournament, Royal Brettrager II became the fourth KHS wrestler to become a two-time All-Ohioan. The others were Greg Zehe (1986-1987), Rob Turner (1997-1998) and Matt Turner (2000-2001).

Did you know? ... 2010 was the second time KHS has had two All-Ohioans as Nick Zele and Royal Brettrager II both placed at the State Tournament. The other was in 1976 when Keith Smith won the state championship at the unlimited weight class and Craig Famera placed third at 132 pounds.

Did you know? ... The 2011 season was Scott Francis' eleventh year coaching at Kirtland, tenth as head coach. During that time period, Kirtland has qualified twelve wrestlers to the OHSAA State Wrestling Championships and another three were alternates.

Did you know? ... Don Stocum was the state's top-ranked heavyweight in the 2008 Final All-Division Rankings published by The Ohio Wrestling Network.
